Rumored threats against Coffee Co. high deemed not credible

COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Manchester police said it is taking extra precautions after it investigated rumored threats made against Coffee County Central High School.

The department said it doesn’t anticipate any of the threats to be credible, but it is assigning additional officers to each school in the Manchester city limits.

Police assured the public officers are working to keep residents and students safe in the community.
