Flooding concerns along Duck River in Columbia

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – While the rain has stopped some creeks and rivers continued to swell on Thursday.

One of those waterways is the Duck River in Columbia.

Two days of rain has led to the Duck River swelling well past its normal levels.

Water had risen from the normal seven feet to about 21 feet and it is expected to get as high as 28 feet before peaking out.
