1 killed, 1 hurt in Montgomery County crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was killed and other was hurt in a Montgomery County crash Friday.

It happened just after 6 p.m. at Ferry and Salem roads.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Michael Dollahite was traveling west on Salem Road at a high rate of speed while fleeing from a traffic stop around 6 p.m. Authorities said they were not pursuing Dollahite when the crashed happened.

According to a release, Dollahite crossed the center double line and struck a 2017 Ford Fusion head-one. He was killed.

The 51-year-old driver of the Ford was also injured. An update on her condition was not immediately released.
