NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was shot at an ATM in Midtown Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the intersection of Church Street and 17th Avenue North around 9:15 a.m.
According to police, the shooting may have stemmed from a drug deal and a group of people may have drove the victim to the Bank of America to withdraw money from the ATM before shots were fire.
Police on the scene told News 2 the victim was grazed in the neck and arm and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the gunman fled in a maroon Ford Fusion.
