Man wanted after deadly shooting outside Nashville apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are searching for a 28-year-old man after a deadly shooting outside of a Nashville apartment complex Monday.

It happened around 11 a.m. at the Brighton Valley Apartments located on Brooksboro Terrace, near Nashboro Village.

According to police, Pavan Voleti was outside his ex-girlfriend’s apartment when she and William Lee III got into a car to leave.

Police said Voleti approached the woman and Lee and fired shots into the car after an argument. Williams, who was in the passenger seat, was struck by the gunfire. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

Voleti fled in a white BMW, which was later recovered near Lenox Village. He remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
