GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 30-year-old man was killed in a crash in Goodlettsville early Wednesday morning.
Police were called just before 6 a.m. after a passing motorist saw a black car in a tree line on Dry Creek Road.
According to a release, the preliminary investigation indicates the man was traveling southbound when for reasons unknown he left the roadway and struck a tree.
The man’s 2016 Chevrolet Sonic rolled over before hitting a second tree. Investigators are working to determine when the crash happened.
Toxicology testing will be conducted to determine whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
Police have yet to release the Westmoreland man’s identity and are working to notify his next of kin.
