25-year-old killed in crash on Vietnam Veterans Parkway

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person died Monday night in a multi-vehicle crash that closed all eastbound lanes of Vietnam Veterans Boulevard in Sumner County.

The crash, which happened between the Bypass and Center Point Road, was reported at 8:25 p.m.

Hendersonville police said the driver left the road, crossed a median in a curve and hit a crossover cable post before going into on-coming traffic, hitting two other cars.

Keith Douglas with Sumner County EMS confirmed to News 2 one person died. He was later identified as 25-year-old Robert Naquin, of Hendersonville.

In 2015, Sumner County had 10 fatal crashes. Last year, the county had more than 20 fatal accidents, including two on Vietnam Veterans Boulevard.
