Duane Hall, District Chief for the Nashville Fire Department, said a neighbor called the fire in and crews could see smoke from downtown as they were on their way.

Upon arrival, the home was fully engulfed and Hall said two propane tanks on the back porch exploded.

A woman inside at the time was able to escape without injury.

A cause was not immediately known. The investigation continues.
