2 injured, including 16-year-old, in South Nashville shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating a shooting that injured a 22-year-old and a teenager.

It happened just before 1:30 a.m. at the Cantina Las Nenas Bar & Billiards on Apache Trail near Haywood Lane in south Nashville.

Police said the 22-year-old was critically injured in the shooting. A 16-year-old was also shot in the stomach. He was dropped off at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center and is expected to be ok.

Metro police said it appears the two got into some sort of altercation before shots were fired.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
