Police investigate 2 robberies in south Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are investigating two robberies in south Nashville.

Both the Little Caesar’s Pizza in Paragon Mills and the Delta Express at Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Pike were robbed sometime after 11 p.m. Sunday.

According to Metro police, a man in his 20s walked into the Little Caesar’s and demanded cash out of the safe. The suspect is around 5 feet 4 inches tall and was wearing a black sweatshirt and a blue scarf over his face.

A short time later, a robbery was reported at the Delta Express. Police said the man demanded money and allegedly threatened the clerk with a gun and said not to call police.

Police said the man got away with a little more than $100.

That suspect is described as a five foot six inch tall white male, who was also wearing a black sweatshirt.

Police have not said if the two robberies are connected.
