NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – What does the city of Nashville plan to do to combat the problems that arise from our massive growth?

News 2 hosted a town hall meeting with Mayor Megan Barry, former mayor Bill Purcell, State Rep. Brenda Gilmore, President and CEO of the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Yuri Cunza, and Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer.

The city and state leaders, each a part of our success story, discussed the major changes Music City has experienced and what we can do to address both the good and bad effects.

News 2 is exploring the pros and cons of the city’s growth in our Nashville 2017 project in every newscast Thursday, January 18. Click here for complete coverage.
