NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – From winning football games to finding time for foster children, Titans running back DeMarco Murray is spreading good vibes.

Murray surprised 48 foster children at a holiday party on Monday at Youth Villages in Nashville.

Each child was given a sweatshirt and tablet for Christmas.

He says this time with the kids is something he won’t soon forget.

“To come here and spend a little time with them, talk to them a little bit, let them know I’m talking about them, praying for them… you never know who you can touch in these types of situations,” Murray told News 2.

Youth Villages and Murray’s foundation teamed up to make Monday’s party happen for the kids and their foster families. If you’d like to foster a child, call 615-250-7200.

Youth Villages provides programs and services for emotionally-troubled young people.
