PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Every year people from around the country make the trip to Gatlinburg and the surrounding communities to not only take in the scenery but also many of the attractions.
The devastating wildfires have left some people worried about the local economy that depends heavily on tourism, so many are hoping visitors still make the trip.
On Friday, Alcatraz East Crime Museum opened to the public. It’s located in Pigeon Forge and the staff says so far they are expecting a good turnout.
