NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Families who need help putting presents under the Christmas tree received a helping hand Friday.
For the 23rd year, the Last Minute Toy story opened for business.
On Thursday, eligible families received tickets to reserve a time to shop.
News 2 spoke with one shopper about what the opportunity means for her family.
“I believe all the kids will enjoy their gifts, I know mine are. But I believe, like I said, the kids are going to enjoy their gifts. I feel like this is very helpful to parents who need help. This is a great experience,” explained Avannah MidKaff.
Shopping for the families continues through Monday.
The Last Minute Toy Store hopes to provide gifts to 1,500 families this year.
