Metro police investigate 2 shooting incidents in North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two people were injured in separate shooting incidents in North Nashville Thursday night.

The first call went out at 7:45 p.m. in the 2400 block of Hyde Street.

A woman says she heard gunshots and had glass in her eye from a bullet hitting the car she was in.

The next incident took place about 40 minutes later in the 1800 block of Ashton Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man had been shot in the lower buttocks. He told police that someone tried to rob him.

No details were immediately released about a suspect.

Both incidents are under investigation.
