Dozens of parents brave cold for ticket to Last Minute Toy Store

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Dozens of parents braved the cold Thursday for a chance to get a ticket for The Last Minute Toy Store.

The Last Minute Toy Store, which is in its 23rd year, provides gifts to families in need and is open for four days on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets to shop at the store will be handed out on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Ticket holders will be able to shop at their designated day and time on Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Monday from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The toy store is open Friday and continues through Monday at 61st Avenue UMC located at 6018 New York Avenue in Nashville.

It aims to provide gifts to 1,500 families this year.
