Man wanted in armed robbery of Goodlettsville gas station

UPDATE: The suspect was identified as Robert Steinback, according to police. He has been charged with aggravated robbery.

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Goodlettsville police are searching for a man they say robbed a gas station early Monday morning.

The suspect entered the Sudden Service Shell around 1:15 a.m. and approached the counter with a drink.

Police say he asked for two cartons of cigarettes, and when the clerk sett hem down, he lifted his shirt, flashed a gun, and said, “Give me the money.”

The clerk complied and the man left the store. No vehicle was seen.

The suspect is a white man about 6 feet 2 inches tall in his mid- to late-30s. He has brown hair with a longer beard.
