NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Titans decided instead of taking a day off Monday after their win against the Broncos, they wanted to spread some holiday cheer.
Several team members stopped by the Room at the Inn to serve meals to the community of people without homes who stay there.
The players also handed out candy canes, which brought smiles to many faces.
“It feels great to come out and serve others. That’s exactly what we’re here for, and, you know, they have so much joy and appreciation for the small and little things in life, so it definitely gives you a new perspective of life as well, but we just enjoy being able to serve them and put a smile on their face,” said Rashad Johnson.
Johnson also said he was looking forward to getting to know everyone on a personal level and share the love since that’s what the holidays are all about.
