NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – With Karl Klug and Jurrell Casey both hurting, the Tennessee Titans elevated defensive end Mehdi Abdesmad to the active roster Monday.

Abdesmad has spent much of the season on the Titans practice squad after a productive preseason as an undrafted free agent.

The 6-6, 284-pounder from Boston College played in 39 collegiate games and had 98 tackles and 7.5 sacks.

To make room on the roster, the Titans waived running back David Fluellen.
