NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – An inmate accused of a 1998 murder is facing a new charge after he reportedly threatened an agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
On Monday, Wallace Brasel, who is in the Cheatham County Jail, was served a warrant charging him with one count of retaliation for past action.
Authorities say while talking on the phone with a family member, he threatened bodily harm against the TBI agent that investigated his murder case.
That investigation led to Brasel’s April arrest for the 1998 murder of Eric Baxter.
According to the TBI, the men were business associates.
