NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man is recovering after he was shot in his hand during a robbery Friday evening.
Officers say the victim was visiting a friend at an apartment on Lebanon Pike and Spence Lane.
As he was walking to the building, a man in a jumpsuit walked up to him with a gun and demanded money.
The victim didn’t have any, but gave up his cell phone.
The gunman fired two shots as he ran away, hitting the victim in the hand.
The victim is expected to recover.
Officers searched the area, but they didn’t find the shooter. A description of the man is not available at this time.
