Lebanon police search for shooting suspect

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting in Lebanon Friday night.

The incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. in the 430 block of E. Market Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, officers found several men, including one gunshot victim identified as 28-year-old Reginald Logue.

Logue had multiple wounds and was transported to a Nashville hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.

Investigators have identified the shooter as 21-year-old Jonathan Word. He left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.

Word was described by police as 6 feet 2 inches tall, 195 pounds with dreadlocks. He is known to frequent the Cookeville area.

Lebanon police have obtained an aggravated assault warrant for his arrest.

Word is considered armed and dangerous.
