NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Christmas is just fifteen days away and Middle Tennessee is getting in the spirit.
If you’re looking for a chance to get in on the fun, there are several opportunities across Middle Tennessee this weekend.
The Gallatin Christmas Parade will be held Saturday. It kicks off at Noon, but holiday music will begin on the balcony of the Gallatin Public Library at 10:45 a.m.
We’re told the best place to watch the parade is Gallatin Public Square
The over 50-year tradition will continue with this year’s theme, “An old fashioned Christmas.”
In Eagleville, the 13th annual Christmas Parade kicks off at 2 p.m. This year’s theme is “favorite Christmas song.”
The route will begin north of downtown on Main Street and go east along Old Highway 99 to Eagleville School.
After the parade, Santa will make his way back to city hall, for pictures and hot cocoa.
The holiday fun continues in Lebanon later Saturday afternoon. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. the city will hold its Christmas on the Square.
There will be live Christmas music, an ugly sweater contest and you can even get your photo taken with Santa.
The Hopkinsville Christmas parade will begin at 5:15 p.m. Saturday. It is part of the city’s holiday celebration and will follow its usual route, starting on Glass Avenue.
This year’s theme is “all aboard for Christmas.”
