NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Tennessee State University ranks among the top graduate nursing programs in the country.

In a recent survey, the university’s Master of Science in Nursing degree was ranked No. 2 among the best graduate nursing schools in America.

The ranking by Top Master’s in Healthcare Administration was achieved in part due to flexible scheduling, high-qualified faculty and extremely reasonable tuition.

“We are extremely excited about this high ranking,” said Dr. Maria Revell, director of the TSU MSN program. “It has taken a lot of hard work on the part of faculty, staff and students to get this program to where it is. We are extremely delighted about this national recognition.”

The program also boasts a 98 percent job placement upon completion.

There are currently 314 students registered in the university’s MSN program.
