CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – In the middle of the afternoon, with employees helping other customers, a stranger entered a Clarksville reptile store targeting the Bearded Dragons.

Clarksville Reef & Reptiles is home to a number of fish, turtles, snakes, and other reptiles. Now, the mother of the Bearded Dragon’s in the store is missing.

“It’s not very cool,” said Parker Davis, who works at the store. “It was an animal I actually liked here, too.”

Parker was hard at work when the thief struck.

“A man walked in, he opened up one of my cages, grabbed a bearded dragon, and ran out the door,” noted Parker. “It had eggs, so it was one that I was gonna keep back and raise up the babies.”

Now those possible babies and their mother are gone, with nothing left behind but surveillance video.

That video is now making the rounds on Facebook. With every share, there’s a new chance to win a bearded dragon.

“To anyone who shares the video, I’ll enter them in for a free dragon,” explained Parker.

If someone reports information that leads to an arrest, that person will get a free Bearded Dragon, along with all the material needed to care for it.

The business is urging everyone in town to view the video, hoping to bring this beardie back.
