Gunman wanted after robbing Family Dollar

MADISON, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are continuing to search for the gunman who robbed a Family Dollar on Wednesday night.

According to a release, the man entered the South Gallatin Pike store around 9:45 p.m. and demanded money from two clerks. The two employees complied to his request as he placed a gun to each of their heads.

The black male was wearing a distinctive hooded sweatshirt with white stripes down the bottom right and near the left side pockets.

Anyone with information on the man’s identity or whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7436.

Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
