Robertson County deputy arrested for DUI

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Robertson County deputy is off the job after being arrested for DUI last month.

Springfield Police Chief David Thompson told News 2 officers arrested Jacob Roberts on November 13.

Officers stopped him after he was unable to drive in his lane of traffic. He failed two field sobriety tests, according to police.

He was terminated from his position on Nov. 17, according to the Robertson County sheriff.

He is out on bond Monday and will be in court on Jan. 9.
