NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville Predators collected donations for disaster relief from the fires that have been sweeping across East Tennessee.

The team took donations during Saturday’s Plaza Party.

Fans were encouraged to bring monetary donations, as the American Red Cross has requested this instead of in-kind items.

You can also give by going to a Predators game. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the American Red Cross for tickets purchased to the Predators game on Dec. 6 or Dec. 13.

Reduced ticket rates are $25 upper level/$50 lower level (reg. $39/$89), plus a $5 per ticket donation included at checkout. For ticket discount and donation, use code “TNFIRE”

Anyone unable to attend Saturday’s game can still give back with a $10 donation by texting the word REDCROSS to 90999.
