NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police released new surveillance photos Friday of the suspect’s vehicle in a road rage incident that led to a man’s murder.
Witnesses previously told authorities Christopher Sparks, 36, was driving north on Ed Temple Boulevard in a red Honda Accord on Sept. 28 when he engaged in a loud, heated verbal argument with the occupant(s) of a silver, newer-model Chevrolet Impala with dark tinted windows.
Police say shots were fired in the intersection of Buchanan Street just after 12:30 p.m. Sparks was hit and killed.
The suspect’s car then fled east on Buchanan.
The surveillance photos track the Impala through the Metro Center-Rosa L. Parks area and onto Ed Temple just before the shooting, as well as the left turn on Buchanan street just after.
Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or who has information about Sparks’ murder is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
