ATLANTA (WCMH) – Remember Asher Nash? He is making his modeling debut after first being told by a talent agency that they weren’t looking for a “special needs baby.”

Meagan Richter Nash has been submitting photos of her son, Asher, to a modeling agency for use in campaigns for Oshkosh B’Gosh and other kids clothing campaigns.

After a submission several months ago, a casting agency replied and told her that they hadn’t “requested a special needs baby.”

Nash told WXIA she responded with, “Did they say they were not casting a baby with special needs?”

The agency replied, “No, they didn’t say anything.”

After a photo of Asher went viral, Oshkosh came to Meagan directly and scheduled a meeting.

She told WXIA that she was nervous going into the meeting, but as it turned out, she was there for good news.

“He went in there and he was Asher,” Meagan told the station. “He was waving, he was blowing kisses! The CEO held him and he didn’t want to leave.”

Photos of Asher made their debut on Oshkosh’s website this week.
