MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Siegel High School football player who was injured in a game more than a year ago was hospitalized overnight after suffering a seizure.

According to a blog post by his father, Baylor Bramble suffered a seizure that lasted at least six minutes while he was in therapy Wednesday afternoon.

He was transferred to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Emergency Room where he was quickly stabilized.

As Baylor was being prepped to go home, his father wrote his temperature dropped and it was decided to keep him overnight.

According to the post, Baylor’s temperature remained low Thursday morning and doctors are unsure what is causing the drop. He was ultimately released late Thursday afternoon.

His family is asking for continued prayers.

Baylor celebrated his 18th birthday last month.
