CELINA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Clay County man is behind bars after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says he lied about an officer sexually assaulting him.
Stanley York faces charges of perjury and making a false report related to his February arrest.
According to the TBI, they began investigating an allegation of sexual assault against an officer of the Celina Police Department in July.
York, the alleged victim, reported the officer assaulted him during an arrest in February of this year. A press release states an investigation showed he lied.
A grand jury returned indictments against the 48-year-old on Monday. York was arrested without incident at his home Wednesday and booked on a $10,000 bond.
