NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Predators rebounded from their first shutout of the season with a 5-3 win in Colorado Avalanche Tuesday night.
Mike Fisher got the scoring started for Nashville with his fifth of the season in the first period.
The Avs tied the game only seconds later, but in the second period, the Predators quickly took control of the game.
After the opening faceoff, PK Subban threw a three line pass to Viktor Arvidsson, who split the defense and fired a sniper shot for his seventh goal of the season and a 2-1 lead.
Later in the second Roman Josi put the puck on the net and young Kevin Fiala was there to poke the rebound home for his third goal of the season and a 3-1 lead.
Ryan Johansen and Austin Watson added two more goals for Nashville in the third. It was the first of the season for Watson.
Pekka Rinne stopped 37 of 40 shots in net for the win.
