NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Kroger and the East Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross are teaming up to provide aid to those affected by the wildfire in Sevier County.

Beginning Tuesday, all Middle and East Tennessee Kroger stores will accept customer donations. Stores in northern Alabama and Southern Kentucky will also collect.

To make a donation, Kroger customers can add any amount they wish to their purchase at time of checkout.

The amount of each tax deductible donation will appear on the customer’s receipt as a contribution to the American Red Cross.

All of the funds collected will be directed to the East Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Kroger will also make a $10,000 corporate contribution to the relief efforts.
