CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two young men were arrested in Nashville after 17 cars were burglarized in Montgomery County last weekend.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said all the vehicles were inside the Farmington Subdivision when they were broken into overnight Sunday into Monday.

None of them showed signs of forced entry.

Stolen items included iPads, cell phones, gift cards, cash, credit cards, keys, personal products, household items, clothing, jewelry, wallets, coins, and IDs.

Marquise Whitson, 18, and Curtis Taylor, 21, have since been arrested in connection with the burglaries. Both men were apprehended in Nashville.

“We would like to remind residents to lock your vehicles even when they are parked in your driveway,” said Sergeant Steve Heise.

Mug shots of Whitson and Taylor were not immediately released.
