2 men injured during home invasion in Antioch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are looking for suspects after two young men were beat with brass knuckles during a home invasion in Antioch.

The break-in happened around 1:20  a.m. Monday on Painter Drive near Hamilton Church Road and Mt. View Road.

Metro police officers at the scene said the victims, who are roommates, were inside their house when two men wearing masks and carrying a shotgun kicked in their front door.

The officers also said the men beat the roommates with brass knuckles and took televisions and other personal items before they left.

One of the victim’s fathers lives nearby. The roommates reportedly drove to his house, and he called for an ambulance. Both victims were taken to a local hospital.

One victim was released around 4 a.m. The other victim’s injuries are more severe.
