WALTON CO., Fla. (WCMH) — A little boy named Billy called 911 on Thursday to get a few more guests at his Thanksgiving table.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office shared the story on Facebook, saying Billy “melted all the hearts” in the communication center.

Two deputies came to Billy’s house, gave him a badge and let him sit in their patrol car.

“With all the bad calls we take on a daily basis this one was a welcomed happy call that made all of us smile,” said Lead Communications Officer Monica Webster.

The sheriff’s office said they do not encourage this use of 911, but said they were honored to get an invite.
