Suspect sought in thefts at Rutherford County Walmarts

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police in Rutherford County are searching for a man suspected of stealing televisions from Walmart.

La Vergne police reported a man walked out of the Walmart on Murfreesboro Road with two TVs without paying on Tuesday and got into a waiting minivan driven by an accomplice.

Investigators believe the duo is suspected in a similar theft in Smyrna.

Smyrna police reported items were taken from the Walmart on Enon Springs Road on Nov. 6.

The vehicle used in the Smyrna theft was a silver, older-model minivan with a small dent in the right front panel.
