NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Something else you might be shopping for this holiday season is a Christmas tree.
News 2 went to Santa’s Tree Lot at Hillsboro High School in Nashville on Wednesday to see how the dry weather is affecting their supply.
One employee told News 2 they have hundreds of trees on display right now, and the drought hasn’t affected them at all.
“The farmers are fairly confident, the root balls were deep enough that the trees got enough water, and if you look, all our bowls, all our trees are in water right now, so…we’re pretty confident everything is going to be alright,” said Ryan Blair.
The employees at Santa’s Tree Lot are working long days, opening each day at 8 a.m. and staying open until 9 p.m.
And no matter what kind of space you have, you can get a tree as small as two feet tall or as large as 20 feet tall.
