NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police have issued a warrant against the man initially wanted for questioning in a murder at Western Express on Nov. 14.

Last week, authorities said they just wanted to speak with Christopher Gadsden after he allegedly drove the victim’s car to North Carolina. He is now accused of killing Brown before doing so.

According to a press release, police in Hickory, North Carolina, encountered Gadsden with the car, which had blood on the inside and out, the same day Deon Brown was found stabbed to death.

Gadsden reportedly had a hand injury that required treatment at a hospital. Metro police say efforts since last week to find Gadsden, who has ties to Fayetteville, North Carolina, have been unsuccessful.

Anyone who knows where he is is urged to call Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and may quality for a cash reward.
