NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees this long holiday weekend with the help of an online retailer and a non-profit organization.
More than 115 shelters, rescues and humane organizations across the United States, including MACC, are participating in the Pawlidayz initiative.
Organizers hope to see 9,000 dogs and cats across the country adopted during the event.
Metro Animal Care and Control is located at 5125 Harding Place and is opened Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for adoptions.
All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated before they are placed in a forever home.
