NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – There are sure to be memorable conversations at the Thanksgiving dinner table on Thursday. They may even turn intense should politics enter the equation.

For people preparing for that discomfort, they made sure to stop at the liquor store Wednesday night.

It’s one of the busiest times of the year for stores that sell wine and spirits.

News 2 visited Frugal MacDoogal, where at times the line wrapped through the store. They say their best sellers are wine and bourbon.

And we should note—many people told News 2 the drinks are used for food pairings as opposed to a way to help them tolerate family.
