LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold in La Vergne, lottery officials said Wednesday.
The winning ticket in Tuesday’s drawing matched five of the six numbers. It was the 199th winner of $1 million or more for Mega Millions.
Lottery officials said the ticket was sold at Neighborhood Market, located at 5499 Murfreesboro Road. The proprietor of the store receives $5,000.
The jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is estimated to be $359 million with an estimated cash value of $219.6 million. This is the 11th largest jackpot in Powerball history.
The winner has yet to come forward and claim their prize.
Since 2004, the Tennessee lottery has raised more than $3.9 billion for education.
