NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 46-year-old man died Monday in a single-car crash near the Bordeaux area of Nashville.

Metro police say Quentin Comer, 46, was traveling west on Youngs Lane in a 1992 Honda Accord when the crash happened.

Comer reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, which caused his car to leave the road and hit a telephone pole and tree.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died.

Metro police say toxicology testing is being conducted to determine whether drug or alcohol involvement played a role in the crash.

Further details weren’t immediately released.
