NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Opry Mills is making sure every child has a chance to enjoy the holiday season.
On Sunday, they offered a Caring Santa event. It gave children with special needs a carefully managed, sensory-friendly photo experience with Santa.
Parents told News 2 they appreciated having this option for their child.
“This was our third year coming. My little boy Liam has autism, and I’m very appreciative to the people that provide this service for us. You know, it’s hard having a child with special needs, going to the mall, waiting in line to see Santa so we’re very fortunate. It really means a lot to our family for them to do this. We’re very appreciative,” said Chantelle Stanco.
Opry Mills will offer another Caring Santa event on Dec. 14. from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
