NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – We know driving to work every morning can be very stressful so we want to show you a couple of things to stay calm in standstill traffic.

The first thing we recommend is changing the way you think about your drive to work every day. Think of sitting in standstill traffic as you “me time” or alone time.

It can be a good time to think or maybe reflect on some of the things you have going on in your life right now.

When you’re at “10 and 2” for so long you carry a lot of tension in your arms and shoulders so take some time to massage behind your neck and roll out your shoulders. You will be amazed at the difference it makes.

A car humidifier can be a game changer for your commute. You can find them as low as $7. Just fill it with water and a few drops of calming essential oils like lavender. It’s a little car humidifier filled with water with a few drops of calming lavender essential oil.
