1 dead after plane crashes into California home

MOSS BEACH, Calif. (KRON) — One person was killed when a plane crashed into a home Friday morning in Moss Beach, California. Another person on board was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

The crash was reported at 11:18 a.m. in the just north of the Half Moon Bay Airport.

No one on the ground was injured.

The FAA said the plane came from the Sacramento Executive Airport.

Only two people were on board when the small white single engine Cessna 172 crashed.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the crash.
