Home destroyed, 8 acres of land burned in Lebanon fire

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – A fire that began inside a Lebanon home’s garage quickly spread and burned eight acres of land Thursday.

It happened just after 12:30 p.m. at a home on Rogers Lane off of Hartsville Pike.

Emergency management personnel told News 2 that once the fire began, wind pushed it toward the home and several grass areas nearby.

A total of eight acres of land were burned and the home is considered a total loss.

One person was transported to the hospital and may have suffered smoke inhalation. The victim’s injuries were not severe.
