Woman dies from injuries sustained in Clarksville crash

CLARSKVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 55-year-old woman has died from injuries she sustained in a crash in Clarksville Thursday morning.

Police say it happened on Warfield Boulevard just before 10:20 a.m. near the intersection of Stonemeadow Road.

One driver was taken to Tennova Healthcare by ambulance while the second, Judy Davis, was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later died.

Two cars were involved in the crash, while a third was hit by a tire that came from one of the two vehicles that collided.

The southbound lane of travel, going toward Memorial Drive, was closed after the crash but has since reopened.
