NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The sheriff’s department is hoping the public can help identity a woman who robbed a Dollar General store in Cottontown.

Sumner County deputies responded to the business on Highway 25 on Oct. 24.

According to a press release, a woman entered the store just before closing and slid a note to the cashier saying it was a robbery and demanding money.

The suspect grabbed her jean pocket as if she had a gun, the sheriff’s office said.

The cashiers complied with her demand before she fled on foot.

The suspect is a white female suspect with blonde hair with bangs just below her eyebrows. She is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slender build, wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a dark colored pullover, a camouflage hood and a blue and white bandana that was partially covering her face.

Anyone with information or who may have been in the area at the time of the robbery is asked to contact the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-452-2616.
